The purpose of this chapter is to provide experienced Hackystat developers with a concise outline of the steps required for installing a new Hackystat development environment on a new machine. This chapter is not for new Hackystat developers! Unless you are already very familiar with Hackystat, you might find it easier and less error prone to follow the detailed instructions in Chapter 8, Hackystat server installation.
