The Daily Project Details analysis is very useful, but it is burdensome to remember to bring up a browser each day and invoke the command. To alleviate this problem, the Daily Project Details command has an associated "alert" in Hackystat. When activated, this alert wakes up every morning at 2:00am, computes the Daily Project Details analysis, and sends you the summary section in an email along with a link to retrieve the full report with the associated drill downs.
Figure 4.35, “ Daily Project Summary Alert for StackyHack ” illustrates the Daily Project Summary alert with the StackyHack project selected, which will enable a daily email regarding StackyHack work.
