Once you're familiar with Hackystat as a client and user, you might wish to install your own server. You can download a preconfigured version of the Hackystat server from the Hackystat Developer Services website at http://www.hackystat.org. Detailed instructions on how to install the Hackystat server are available at this website.

At some point, you may find that the preconfigured Hackystat server does not provide the correct set of sensors and analyses for your own application context. At this point, you are ready to join the community of Hackystat Hackers and implement your own custom extensions. See the Developer Services website for more information on this process.
